César Isella, one of the glories of national folklore, died this Thursday at 82 years from heart complications.

Isella, born in the province of Salta in 1932, He was one of the members of the mythical group Los Fronterizos and was admitted to the Cardiovascular Institute of Buenos Aires (ICBA).

Musician since the 12 years, had a fruitful stage with Los Fronterizos since 1956 until 1966. Then it would be the turn to form a compositional duo with Armando Tejada Gómez.

In addition to his artistic side, He served as director at the head of the General San Martín Theater and vice president of Sadaic. In 2012 was appointed with the permanent position of Ambassador of Latin American Popular Music by the then Secretary of Culture of the Nation.

His last artistic contribution was the sound documentary "Author", presented at the end of last year and where he provided details of his emblematic songs on digital platforms.

Canción con todos” Y “Canción de las simples cosas”, are some of the classics that make up this work that covers part of the Latin American history of the new songbook of the years 70, with his meetings and creations with Mercedes Sosa, Joan Manuel Serrat, Pablo Neruda, Silvio Rodriguez, Armando Tejada Gomez, Victor Jara, Julio Cortazar, among others.
