With more than a million pesos destined to the winner, This Wednesday the call to participate in the Medifé Filba Foundation Award was officially open.

This proposal that highlights the Argentine novels published the previous year, will remain open until 18 of April, in order to provide greater visibility to the works and their writers.

On the other hand, The Filba Foundation also confirmed the jury that will be part of this fourth edition of the prestigious award. Those in charge of choosing the most outstanding work will be the writers María Moreno and Betina González and the writer Federico Falco who, from the list of ten finalist titles, will select the five works from the short list and finally will reward the winning novel that will be announced in November.

It is worth noting that the first editions of novels originally written in Spanish by living authors may apply for the Award., Argentineans and published by publishers from anywhere in the world. Publishers and authors may apply for all titles published during the 2022 that comply with the bases.

To participate, you must complete the application form found at http://www.fundacionmedife.com.ar and deliver three copies of each applicant novel, Argentine author, published between 1 January 31 from December to 2022, either by mail or by e-book through an email.

Then, “long list” will be released in July, with a first selection of ten novels chosen. The “short list” will be announced in October and in November, the winning book.
