Registrations for the new edition of the Orange Shorts Festival have opened
Recently, the Culture area of the San Luis city of Luján opened the inscriptions to be part of the third edition of the Orange Shorts Festival, meeting open to everyone.
Despite the difficulties due to the context in which we have to live, for the third consecutive year the meeting will take place - unlike the previous edition that was held entirely online- mixed.
The Orange Shorts Festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Municipality of Luján with the collaboration of Argentores, the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) and San Luis Cinema.
Previous editions of the festival have generously met their goals. Short films from countries such as the United States were summoned, Canada, Iran, India, France, China, Spain, Australia, Croatia, Slovakia, Turkey, Pakistan, Korea, Madagascar, and of course, all Latin America. In addition, several icons of the Argentine industry were present in the talks, as Nicolás Batlle, current vice president of INCAA (Wakold, The patron of evil). Plus an animated short film produced by Juan José Campanella, Oscar winner (Metallic, The Secret in Their Eyes).
From the management of the mayor Mariella Páez Hernández, The festival has been installed in the community as a meeting between filmmakers from around the world and a public from Luja that serves as a jury and helps to choose the best shorts from San Luis and the rest of the world.. Since the festival, since its first edition, has the distinctions: Best International Short and Best Short of San Luis.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1) Short films under 20 minutes, from anywhere in the world. Your original language can be Spanish, and if not, must be subtitled in Spanish (built-in or SRT subtitles). The theme, gender and technique is free. The delivery time limit is up to 10 October 2021 to 23:59. Contestants may submit as many works as they wish, regardless of the date of completion, as long as they have not participated in the edition 2019, nor the edition 2020 the festival.
2) The works may be sent to the email cultura.luj@gmail.com with the subject ORANGE SHORTS FESTIVAL 2021. They can be sent through WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox, Onedrive, or through a Youtube or Vimeo link. Besides the video (MP4 format, MPEG, MKV, AVI, WMV), They must also attach a TECHNICAL DATA SHEET (DOC format, DOCX, TXT o PDF) with the names of the filmmakers, production / filming location, the cast, synopsis, and contact telephone number. further, You are asked to attach a COVER image (JPEG format, PNG, TIFF or PDF).
