Newly way, the Ministry of Culture presented the second open call for co-production projects within the framework of the Danza en Tecnópolis program.

In this context and through the Undersecretariat for Management of Spaces and Special Projects, This second call aims to support dance makers so that they work in articulation and co-production from a perspective located in Tecnópolis and its territory of action.

The call is intended for artists, elencos, groups or dance groups from CABA and Greater Buenos Aires to develop co-production projects that will be presented at a festival open to the community at the renowned Villa Martelli venue next year.

Danza en Tecnópolis is a program of actions and co-production of dance projects in the territory. The program is the first comprehensive proposal of this specific discipline in the park dedicated to Art, Science and technology. At the same time, seeks to transform Tecnópolis into a meeting space, investigation, learning and creation for professionals and students of the dance of the Province and the City of Buenos Aires, as well as contributing to the reactivation of this fundamental sector of our culture.

In this second call (which will last until 25 of June), artists can apply, elencos, groups or dance groups from CABA and Greater Buenos Aires with projects that revolve around the production and assembly of creations, laboratories and/or residences, curatorial proposals, publishers, the development of experimental processes, the performative actions, excerpts from an interview with the artist conducted by Diana Wechsler and José Emilio Burucúa, among others. The idea is that the applications investigate the incorporation of tools from dance in all its diversity.

On this occasion, twelve projects will be selected to carry out co-productions located in Tecnópolis. The selected projects will be accompanied by pairs of dance artists-managers and will have an intensive co-production period of three months, located in Technopolis, and in coexistence with other selected projects. To do so, they must be available to work during the co-production period that will begin in November of this year., with four days of work in which exchange activities will be carried out, territorialization and collective presentation of projects.

further, Each project will receive a sum of 350 one thousand pesos as an artistic co-production budget for the development and realization of the located co-production, and an amount to be defined, in concept of cachet for participation in the Dance Festival in Tecnópolis.
