This Tuesday the Buenos Aires Culture area –through Museums BA- will present a series of proposals online related to International Museum Day.

The actions include the donation of two Ginkgo Biloba to the Larreta Museum, women as protagonists in the Sívori collection, the launch of the BA Museums Tik Tok and the role of the viewer highlighted by works by Josefina Madariaga

First, BA Museums will launch its Tik Tok account where it will share a series of videos with curious facts about the history and heritage of the Enrique Larreta Spanish Art Museum, the Carlos Gardel House Museum, the Isaac Fernández Blanco Museum of Hispanic American Art, the Eduardo Sívori Plastic Arts Museum and the Pablo Ducrós Hicken Museum of Cinema.

Through the BA Museums YouTube channel and the BA Museums and Larreta Museum Instagram accounts, The donation of two specimens of the Ginkgo Biloba tree by the General Directorate of Green Spaces and Trees will be shared in the garden of the Enrique Larreta Spanish Art Museum.

This time, The planting of the specimen will be carried out by the museum gardener Javier Suárez, celebrating the importance of natural heritage related to culture. The museum gardens, protagonists in this context, were venues during the activities of the "Summer in the City" and in the editions 2021 of the Buenos Aires International Festival (FIBA) and the Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival (BAFICI).

The aim of the donation is to revalue the green heritage of the BA Museums, your care, maintenance and awareness. The result of the investigation is transparent and synthesizes the participation of female artists in the Sívori Collection.
