Activities around the Kim Yun Shin exhibition
In the framework of the exhibition “Chal-la: Now, in this moment ”that reflects the work of the artist Kim Yun Shin, An online conservatory will be held that will take place on Thursday from 19.
From the Korean Cultural Center, where the exhibition will take place until 6 of August, the conservatory will be the first of two meetings around the work and artistic legacy of Kim Yun Shin.
The virtual meeting will be through Zoom, free and with prior registration, and will have the participation of the artist, with the curator Cecilia Medina and Buan Ko, former Cultural Attaché of the Korean Embassy in Argentina, with whom the painter and sculptor has maintained a bond for more than 30 years. The sample, which continues at the Korean Cultural Center until 6 of August, can be visited from Monday to Friday, of 10 a 17 hours, with prior reservation writing to info.centroculturalcoreano@gmail.com.
This exhibition brings together a total of 34 works, between painting, sculpture and performative work of the artist, who is in charge of narrating transformative moments, which in turn marked turning points in politics, society and cultural activity in the world.
On the other hand, also accompanying the sample, the second space for reflection and conversation will be the 29 July and will star the sculptor María Torcello and Kim Yun Shin, who will exchange artistic and cultural glances and talk about feminism in art and sculpture, the dialogue between generations and the contributions of the work of the Korean artist to the sculpture made by women artists.
