Despite having a tour ahead, The legendary group Aerosmith announced the end of their career this Friday, through a statement.

The band from Boston explained in the note posted on social networks that the main reason for the goodbye was due to the health problems suffered by the vocalist and original member Steven Tyler..

Aerosmith described this decision as “a heartbreaking decision” as the band wanted to say goodbye to their audience while on tour. (They had previously announced their “Peace our tour” which had to be postponed twice).

In the statement it could be seen that “a heartbreaking and difficult decision” but “necessary” has been made.. Tyler's problems began in September of last year when he suffered a fractured larynx after the third concert of this last tour..

Despite the inconveniences suffered, The group tried to continue with the recovery of the singer who managed to resume at the end of May as a guest of The Black Crowes (group where the Argentine guitarist Nicolás Bereciartúa plays). On that occasion they performed the classic “Mama Kin”.
