Andrea Wulf and Tim Maughan will be part of the international Filba
Within the framework of the Filba International Festival to be held between 28 September and 2 October, authors Andrea Wulf and Tim Maughan confirmed their presence at the meeting.
This edition of Filba Internacional will be held under a hybrid format, that is, online and face-to-face. On the other hand and in addition to Wulf (online) and Maughan will also be part of the authors Julia Armfield and McKenzie Wark. Meanwhile, Jane Lazarre also confirmed her virtual assistance.
Born in India and educated in Germany, Wulf currently resides in London, where he teaches History of Design at the Royal College of Art.
This author is the creator of works such as the biography of Alexander Von Humboldt, "The Invention of Nature" (Taurus, 2016), book with which he won more than fifteen international awards.
His latest book translated into Spanish is "In search of Venus" in which he recounts how enlightened scientists came together to measure the depths of the universe.
Meanwhile, Scotsman Tim Maughan (born in 1973) is a writer and journalist. Through fiction and non-fiction he explores themes linked to cities, social classes, the technology, culture and future.
He regularly collaborates with important media such as the BBC, New Scientist, MIT Technology Review y Vice/Motherboard.
"Infinite Detail" is the first novel by this writer who currently resides in Canada.
