The members of the jury of the Las Alturas Film Festival were announced
In the last hours, the names of the jury that will preside over the seventh edition of the Las Alturas International Film Festival were confirmed, meeting that will take place between the first and the 10 October.
Within this framework, the renowned actress Graciela Borges was appointed as the president of the jury within the International Fiction Film Competition. Joining her will be the Bolivian director and scriptwriter Marcos Loayza and the Peruvian audiovisual director Miguel Barreda.
Regarding the International Documentary Feature Film Competition, who will lead the jury will be the Colombian Diego García, audiovisual producer with a long career and experience in teaching documentary film. He will be accompanied by the Argentine Carmen Guarini who is also a teacher and doctor in Anthropological Film and Carlos Oteyza, film director, Venezuelan historian and screenwriter.
Meanwhile, The jury that will choose the best productions within the NOA Shorts Competition will be made up of Mariel Vítori, Catamarca director and executive producer. Joining her will be the talented audiovisual producer from Jujuy Renán Aparicio and the director and producer Mariel Bomczuk.
Finally, the brand new category, Work in Progess of the Heights, which integrates a selection of films in process from Argentina, It will have a jury made up of the Colombian Felicitas Raffo, together with Gustavo Pomeranec and Adrián Rodríguez from the production company “Pomeranec music and sound” and Gabriel Lahaye, producer of audiovisual content and provider of post-production services for the audiovisual industry.
