The first winners of the Liliana Bodoc Literary Contest were announced

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Mendoza announced the first winners of the Liliana Bodoc-Fantastic Story Literary Contest, competition created this 2020.

With the aim of honoring the memory of the outstanding writer and in turn disseminating the work of local artists, the proposal had a prestigious jury, composed of three renowned authors such as Claudia Piñeiro, Fernanda García Lao and Natalia Páez.

Of the works presented, The jury decided to award the First Prize to the work "Rabbit Traps", by Fernando Carpena; Second Prize for "Inside Field", by Javier Hernández and in the Third Prize, "A piece of the universe", by Santiago Clément.

Likewise, The works "The dead should stay dead" received recognition, by Gisela Lupiañez; "A spike", by Marcos Martínez and "A stone in the shoe", by Germán Bianchini.

The first three prizes will receive $15.000, $12.000 Y $10.000, respectively. While the six finalist texts will be published in an anthology, which will inaugurate the DIGITAL collection of Ediciones Cultural Mendoza.
