They announced a new stage of the Fund for Culture and Tourism
With a contribution that reaches the 500 millions of pesos, the Ministry of Production, Science and Technological Innovation announced a new stage of the Fund for Culture and Tourism that will be allocated to museums, theaters, cultural centers, libraries, craft fairs and travel agencies.
This is the third edition of this tool that aims to be an aid to those Buenos Aires sectors that were affected by the pandemic.
According to what was informed by means of a statement, In this edition, priority is given to those privately managed establishments, union, cooperative, popular and community-based and without any degree of state participation.
All the spaces registered and validated in the Tourist and Cultural Catalog of the Province (https://www.catalogotc.gba.gob.ar) will receive an amount according to the damage that the pandemic caused to them. The municipalities will be in charge of validating the establishments and then distributing the funds, highlighted the official statement.
The institutions that may receive funds will be: museums, theaters, cultural centers, Exhibition rooms, music spaces, libraries, historical archives, craft fairs, travel agency, Accommodation Services, tourism and nature, infrastructure for tourist sports, rooms for events and educational cultural institutions.
The Ministry of Production, Science and Technological Innovation has already allocated $800 million to the Province Fund for Culture and Tourism, distributed in two editions of 300 million and 500 million respectively. With the new edition, investment in the reactivation of the Buenos Aires tourism and cultural sector will amount to 1.300 millions of pesos.
