Starting this Thursday and for two days, The Pablo Ducrós Hicken Film Museum will hold a series of special projections in the auditorium of the Buenos Aires venue.

Under the name of "Intervened files and advertising cinema" the proposal will have the following programming.

Thursday 25

16:00 | intervened events (2014) 73´.

During 2013 The Museo del Cine summoned twenty-five Argentine directors to make a series of short short films based on three broadcasts of the Sucesos Argentinos newscast, with the aim of drawing attention to the importance of digitizing the archive in its entirety.

18:00 | advertising cinema recovered

In the decades of 60 and the 70 the last century, one of the attractions of going to the cinema was to see on the big screen the advertisements that the public knew about on television (in black and white). At the Museo del Cine we relive that experience, we selected some of those spots from our original negative files, that they give for the memory or the discovery of an era full of audacity and incorrectness.

Second feature film made entirely with material from the archives of the Museo del Cine and by fourteen prominent Argentine filmmakers. These are nine issues of Cine Escuela Argentino, a project created in 1948 by the Secretary of Education of Argentina during the first government of Juan Domingo Perón.
