Arnaldo Freitas presents his new album at the CCBA
Within the framework of his Aguas del Plata tour, which includes scenarios from Uruguay and Argentina, the Brazilian Viola Caipira composer and instrumentalist Arnaldo Freitas will perform, With free entry, at the Centro Cultura Brasil Argentina (CCBA).
The concert will be on Wednesday 31 of May, starting at 19 (punctual), in the cultural enclosure located on Avenida Belgrano 552.
The virtuoso musician will be presenting his most recent album, The eyes of María and for this occasion it is not necessary to withdraw tickets in advance.
Freitas is one of the virtuous musicians of the new Brazilian generation, inspired by Tião Carreiro's music, Bambico, Renato Andrade (of the traditional genre of the neighboring country) and by guitarists of the stature of Paco de Lucía, Andres Segovia, Raphael Rabelo, Dilermando Reis, Juanjo Dominguez, Luis Salinas and Yamandu Costa.
Los Ojos de María is a work published in March of this year and, according to the author, the name is dedicated to his daughter María Luiza. Throughout the album, Freitas travels a universe of traditional rhythms, but with current arrangements.
