Recently the Republiquetas Theater Company premiered “Arriba el Bajo Pueblo”, its fourth production that can be seen on the stage of the La Ranchería Theater.

With features every Saturday from 22 hours, This proposal is directed by Francisco Civit and headed by José María Barrios Hermosa, Fernando Migueles and Gabriel Yeannoteguy.

Republiquetas is a theater company known for basing its texts on historical dissemination.. Within that context, “Up the low people” investigates the participation of the popular sectors from the English Invasions and the May Revolution to the Anarchy of the year 20.

In this opportunity, a trio of historians presents a pompous patriotic anniversary for the Belgranian Year. But after a little while the story gets complicated. The Argentine patriot was not exactly Argentine, the homeland was not exactly the homeland.

It is worth noting that the same company still presents, but at the El Crisol Theater (Friday from 20.30), the work “Voices of Malvinas”, which tells the story of the most important women that the archipelago has had.

Tickets for “Arriba el Bajo Pueblo” can be obtained at the box office of the venue located above Mexico. 1152 or by the Alternative Theatrical system.
