Pilar: Visual arts show on the Day of Non Violence

Within the framework of the commemoration of the Day of Non-Violence, The Culture area of ​​Pilar will hold an exhibition of visual arts with the works belonging to the plastic artist Paula Vidal.

The exhibition, titled “Closing your eyes is losing”, will begin at 19.30 and can be enjoyed for free at the President Derqui House of Culture, located in Antonio Toro 451.

Besides the exhibition, there will be a dance presentation by the Pas de Deux dance academy, headed by Professor Fabia Sánchez. There will also be live painting and poetry reading and finally the murga Utopías Denunciadas will perform.

Vidal is a professor of Social Communication graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and has practiced the teaching profession since 2015 in public secondary schools in the Province of Buenos Aires.

He is currently completing his Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences at the same university and studying the Teaching Course in Visual Arts at the Higher Institute of Art and Creativity of Pilar..

From the 2007 To the date, Vidal has carried out various studies related to the dramatic arts, plastic arts and photography. He has various personal projects in relation to these branches and has participated in art exhibitions, collaborated on different scenography jobs for children's shows, illustrations for a music album and photographic productions.

It is worth mentioning that the International Day of Non-Violence is commemorated every 2 October, in honor of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, leader of the Indian Independence movement and pioneer of the philosophy and strategy of pacifism.
