“Ay, Camila!”, by Cristina Escofet, will be presented at the Tadron Theater

The play “Ay Camila!”, Directed by Laura Formento and based on the text by Cristina Escofet, will be performing on stage at the Tadron Teatro in November.

With functions the days 5, 12, 19 Y 26 next month and tickets available at Alternativa Teatral or at the box office of the venue located on Niceto Vega 4802, the show is inspired by the story of Camila O ’Gorman, the high society girl who fell in love with the wrong man.

Located in 1843, Camila met a parish priest, who fell deeply in love with. They both kept their relationship a secret and, four years later, they eloped to start a life together, without measuring what destiny had in store for them.

The two faced the power of the day, to the Buenos Aires society of 1840, and his own family for not giving up on their dreams.

In this opportunity, with the performance of Pía Risa Buigley, the audience will witness a monologue where the protagonist will relive her intense story and will take us through the most important passages of her life with all the passion that accompanied her until her last days.

The singer Agustina Laplana is part of the work, the violinist Brenda Abbate, Mercedes Abatte on cello and Karina Büttner on Piano.
