Bajofondo returns to the stage to play at the Coliseo Theater

With a series of presentations that will take place in our country and in Uruguay, Bajofondo prepares to return to the stage and present the songs of "Aura", his latest album.

Although the group has scheduled its first presentation in Uruguay (12 December at the Antel Arena in Montevideo), the first step in Argentina will be a concert on 16 December at the Teatro Coliseo.

With tickets for sale through Ticketek, the River Plate collective will prepare a show that will cover the themes of "Aura", his latest album. Of course there will be no shortage of the band's classics and surprise guests.

On the other hand, during the concert at the Colosseum, a string ensemble led by maestro Alejandro Terán will accompany the band.

Created by producers Gustavo Santaolalla and Juan Campodónico makes 20 years, This group of musicians from Río de la Plata has been recognized all over the world. Only with their last job did they obtain 1 Gardel Award, 3 Graffiti Awards, 1 Latin Grammy and Grammy nomination. Recognitions that are added to the Grammy for his debut "BajofondoTangoclub" (2002) and to the Latin Grammy for his song "Pena en mi Corazón" and for his album "Presente" (2013).

Bajofondo has set the tone in world music thanks to its purposeful combination of tango, candombe, murga with milonga with rock, electronics, hip hop y jazz. During these years they have had the collaborations of Gustavo Cerati, Benjamin Biolay, Julieta Venegas, Natalia Oreiro, Nelly Furtado, Elvis Costello, Jorge Drexler, La Mala Rodriguez, Daniel Melingo, Ryota Komatsu, Adriana Varela, DjOtnicka, among others. As they have also toured around the world and performed at major festivals, as Coachella, Lollapalooza, Roskilde, Creamfields y Glanstonbury.

The live band is composed by Gustavo Santaolalla, Juan Campodonico, Luciano Supervielle, Javier Casalla, Martín Ferrés, Gabriel Casacuberta and Vj Verónica Loza.
