From the hand of Ramiro Méndez Roy, Lisandro Fiks and Lucio Bazzalo, recently “Birdland” had its premiere at El Galpón de Guevara, venue in which it will be presented for seven more performances.

This setting was originally written by Simon Sthepens and the version belongs to Méndez Roy, co-directed by Fiks and Bazzalo. In its plot, a rock star will live without bearing the weight of his own fame, in the context of an extensive world tour.

The protagonist will experience the emptiness of not having built a place to return definitively.

Fiks and Méndez Roy are also part of the cast along with Marina Wolf, Martina Zalazar, Sofia Gonzalez, Heinz Krattiger and Pablo Lapa.

The work belongs to the same author as "The curious incident of the dog at midnight" and offers a debate on vulnerability, loneliness and truth as a result of violent contradictions.

As for the functions, will be every Thursday from 21, with tickets on sale at the Guevara venue 326 or by Alternative Theater.
