The famous composer, visual artist and British producer Brian Eno, pioneer of ambient music, will arrive for the first time in Buenos Aires, summoned to mount installations 77 Million Paintings y The Ship, which will remain open to the public from 2 December at the CCK.

Installation 77 Million Paintings will be located in the fabulous space of The Great Lamp, in the heart of the old Post Office Palace. It is a generative work that creates for the viewer an enveloping atmosphere of sounds and images. It consists of a structure of twelve monitors, whose screens are projecting random combinations of the images created by the artist. Added to them are the layers of music composed by Eno, which are also slowly emitted in random combinations. The double effect is to see a luminous painting that flows like music, with the feeling of being surrounded by music that sits in space.

further, in the Auditorium of the Hall 613 del CCK, Brian Eno presentará The Ship (The ship), that brings together three of the main aspects of his work: music, installation and songwriting.

Eno started out playing with the legendary band Roxy Music, de Bryan Ferry. After leaving the group, he began a solo career, linked to all kinds of cutting edge experiments. The term "ambient music" itself was coined from his series of muzak-inspired albums., entre ellos Music for Airports, The Plateaux of Mirror, Day of Radiance y On Land.

Later, increasingly focused on production tasks for other artists, including Ultravox!, U2, the mythical Camel, Travis, Coldplay and James.
