Buenos Aires will not have theaters open during the summer

Through a press conference attended by Governor Axel Kicillof and the Minister of Production of the Province, Augusto Costa, it was announced that there will be no theatrical season during the summer in Buenos Aires.

The announcement was made at the MAR Museum in the city of Mar del Plata, where it was confirmed what until a few hours ago was a real unknown, "There will be no entertainment and recreation in closed places", the officials assured.

Besides theaters, the measure will reach boliches, bingo halls and casinos, generating a strong economic impact for the coming summer season.

In this context, the businessman Carlos Rottemberg referred, throught social media, ensuring that the decision "hits our activity hard", since a return was estimated from December.

Now an official statement from the Argentine Association of Theater and Musical Entrepreneurs is expected (AADET), in reference to the recent decision of the provincial government.
