Casa FOA announced its edition 2021 with important news

The traditional design exhibition Casa FOA announced that its edition 2021 will be held from 18 September and will run until 23 October.

It will take place in a whole block of Belgrano R, more precisely on Avenida Elcano. At the same time, this edition will be the first against with an initiative called “Satellite Experience”, that will allow you to travel the country with designers, architects and landscapers.

In this way, "Satellite Experience" will be an exhibition with a smaller surface and duration., which will also focus on the design, and that will begin next year in the first Public Library for Children and Youth: The Sweet Potato Queen, in Barrancas de Belgrano.

It will be the relaunch of the only public children's library in Buenos Aires, in tribute to María Elena Walsh, that complies 10 years and that it was built in the year 1905 as a house for park keepers, until 2011 who opened as The Sweet Potato Queen.

On the other hand, an urban equipment contest will be launched, whose purpose will be to design the children's benches that will be in the Plaza Barrancas de Belgrano in the exterior spaces of the library.

Likewise, Headquarters, in Belgrano R, it will be a space of more than 10.000 square meters with the presence of 45 interior design and landscaping stands, in an edition that will celebrate 35 FOA House anniversary, postponed due to pandemic.

Organizers, stood out, in this sense, “the importance of design to propose innovative solutions that respond to the new ways of inhabiting our homes and work spaces”.

“Let's design a better world together” will be the theme of the edition 2021, after a year that “evidenced the need for green and outdoor spaces, places and equipment to work at home, flexible spaces that adapt to more than one function”, organizers added.
