While he was in the hospital where he worked, the surgeon received a visit from a woman of more than 80 years. Subjected to great physical suffering, the prognosis only gave him a few hours of life expectancy.

Due, the patient and her daughter asked her to definitively end her suffering. Marcos, skipping all medical protocol, he injected 50 mg of potassium chloride in the vein. He died not many minutes after. And Hourmann did a thing that no one in this country had ever done before.: wrote in the report what happened.

few months later, Marcos received a notification from the court: was accused of murder. The family never denounced him., but yes the hospital. For that decision he could pass 10 years in prison. Now the public will render the verdict. The work alternates the narration of the events for which Dr. Hourmann was sentenced with episodes from his own life in his native Argentina..
