"Burnt hill", the first premiere of March on the INCAA screens

The documentary "Cerro burned", of the director Juan Pablo Ruiz will be able to be seen this Thursday - from 22- within the framework of the Thursday of Premieres program carried out by INCAA.

Ruiz is also in the production of this proposal, with Alejandro Nantón for Insomnia Films and Rita Cine; and the music belongs to Micaela Chauque, protagonist of the documentary.

"Burnt hill", the rest, will have a repeat (in the same time) Saturday 6 of March, while from Friday it will be available on the screens of the CINE.AR PLAY platform for a week with exclusive and free access.

In his movie, Ruiz reflects the story of Micaela and her mother Yurquina, who start a journey in search of their grandmother Felipa, last inhabitant of the forgotten and extraordinary landscape of Cerro Quemado.

The production is the poetic portrait of a world about to disappear, the meeting of three women united by an indigenous past.

This proposal is not Ruiz's first documentary, who in 2008 wrote the script of the film "The word pawned", that recovers the figure of the disappeared Argentine journalist Jorge Ricardo Masetti.

In 2019 makes his film "Cerro Quemado", where he exposes the survival of the last coya inhabitant of one of the hills of northern Argentina. In 2020 began research for his second feature film "Nebula".
