Collaborative work done between artisans and designers can be enjoyed in the new exhibition Ancestral and Contemporary, organized by the Department of Culture of the province of Chaco.

The exhibition will start on Friday 16 from December, from 19 hours, in the exhibition hall of the Cultural Center Alternative, located on Santa María de Oro 471.

The works that can be enjoyed are the result of collaborative design tables between Qom and wichi artisans and designers chaqueños, from different branches such as clothing, graphic and textile industry areas and.

This project was spearheaded by the Department of Cultural Industries Institute of Culture, which is in charge Carolina Sampor, in coordination with handmade chain PRODERI the provincial Ministry of Production by Cintia Corvalan in the project.

Four meetings strengthened the proposed exchange of knowledge and co-creation of new products: three on the Alternative Cultural Center of Resistance and one in Fortin Lavalle with members of the Association Qomlashepi Otaxanaxaipi.

According to the statement by Sampor, this exhibition "is linking craftswomen with designers, where different ways and forms are filed to produce, co-creation of new product lines.
