Cycle of educational activities for Women's Day in the Modern

In the framework of International Women's Day, Between this Wednesday and Sunday 12 March the Modern Museum of Buenos Aires will carry out a cycle of free educational activities.

This proposal will also be developed within the context of the exhibition "A day on Earth".

In the first place and on the occasion of the week of the 8 of March, The educational team of the traditional Buenos Aires campus will carry out a tour with a gender perspective through the rooms that make up the exhibition program of the aforementioned sample.

The activity is part of the search to disseminate other views and possible representations based on the works of the artists currently exhibited in the museum..

Aimed at the general public and without prior registration, The proposal may be made from Wednesday to Sunday from 16 a 17 hours. further, on Friday 10 the curator Jimena Ferreiro will participate in the tour; while saturday 11 there will be an interpretation service in LSA.

Saturday and Sunday, of 15 a 16 the tour for families "Oblique Glances" will be carried out, an invitation to explore and interact creatively with the exhibits from the annual “A Day on Earth” program.

This activity requires prior registration on the official website of the Museum, since after appreciating the works of the women that make up the sample, visitors will be able to make their own creation.

Finally, the weekend will also carry out the proposal "Families in action. Continuous creation space”, a meeting that will take place on the weekend of 15 a 17 and that will not require prior registration.

The entire educational team of the campus located on Avenida San Juan will participate in this proposal. 350 and its purpose will be to create together a flag that covers all the emotions together from different creative interventions on textiles.
