Film series dedicated to Jean-Pierre Melville at the Fine Arts

From this Friday until 2 of July, the Museum of Fine Arts will carry out the cycle "Cartography of shadows", a cinephile meeting dedicated to the French director Jean-Pierre Mellville.

In total there will be four classics by the aforementioned director, that can be enjoyed with totally free admission.

The functions of the new cycle of Fine Arts Cinema -carried out with the collaboration and sponsorship of the French Institute of Culture and the French Embassy in Argentina, and programmed by the critic Leonardo D'Espósito– will be on Fridays and Saturdays at 19 in the Friends of Fine Arts room, located on Figueroa Alcorta Avenue 2280.

It is worth noting that tickets are only purchased online., completing the reservation form for each function that appears on the website of the traditional Buenos Aires venue.

The films that will be screened will be “El soplón” (1962), "The silence of the sea" (1949), "Army of Shadows" (1969) and “The Red Circle” (1970).
