A few days after his departure to his 91 years, Lumiton together with Fidba will perform a free double screening dedicated to Jean-Luc Godard that will take place at the York Cinema.

The appointment will be this Wednesday 21 September from 19, when "The Image Book" and "Goodbye to Language" are screened, from 21.

"The Image Book" is an award-winning production at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018, where he received the Special Palme d'Or, in addition to the International Cinephile Society Awards that same year.

In this film, Godard tells a story in five chapters, like the fingers of a hand. where there is nothing, except silence, a revolutionary song.

Meanwhile, “Goodbye to language” is the most recent production by the director, who makes a classic story that becomes complex through the inclusion of dazzling quotes and images achieved through 3D technology.
