Cycle Classic Mexican Cinema in the Fine Arts
Within the framework of a special collaboration of the Cineteca de Mexico and the support of the Embassy of Mexico in Argentina, the Secretariat of Mexican culture, the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Mexico, Foundation Televisa, the Mexican Institute of Cinematography, the Mexican Agency of International cooperation for development, and the Ministry of Culture, the Fine Arts Cinema presents a selection of films that cover almost five decades of Mexican film production.
Under the curatorship of Leonardo D’Espósito, the cycle (that can be viewed for free, respecting the order of arrival) will start this Friday 15 March from 19 hours, with the screening of "Enamorada", film made by Emilio Fernández in 1946 starring María Félix, Pedro Armendáriz and Fernando Fernández.
The program of this first weekend will continue this Saturday with a double proposal. In first place - and from 17.30- You can see "The other" (1946), by Roberto Gavaldón; with Dolores del Río, Agustín Irusta and Víctor Junco and from 20 "Living room Mexico", production of 1948, by Emilio Fernández, with the performances by Marga López, Miguel Inclán and Rodolfo Acosta.
Then, The Sidewalk shows you the remaining schedule of the new cycle that can be enjoy in the enclosure located on Avenida Figueroa Alcorta 2280.
