Cycle of conversations between specialists on heritage

From the 20 October and every Tuesday until 24 of November, the cycle "New Looks on Heritage Seminar" will be held, a meeting held by the Buenos Aires Culture and Heritage areas and which will feature prominent national and international guests.

Through the official YouTube account of Patrimonio BA and the platform of the Ministry of Culture of the City, the cycle proposes to contribute to broadening the notion of heritage, traditionally focused on building, from other objects, heritage sites and practices.

Free and free, to access these meetings it is only necessary to register in advance, writing to consultapatrimonio@buenosaires.gob.ar.

The cycle of conversations will create a meeting space to discuss cases, troublesome, approaches to heritage from some cross-cutting issues related to tangible and intangible heritage: arqueología y sitios arqueológicos prehispánicos en la ciudad; the history of architecture with a gender perspective; shared assets of communities in Argentina, public space as heritage; the management of archives and art collections; and memory sites as heritage.

On Tuesday 20 October, the conversation Pre-Hispanic archaeological sites in the city will be in charge of Ulises Camino (Argentina) and Patrick Morales (Bogotá, Colombia). On Tuesday 27 October, the talk Sites of Memory as heritage, will be in charge of Nora Hochbaum (Argentina) and Julián Bonder (Argentina / United States).

On Tuesday 3 of November, the talk The work of Luis Seoane in Galicia and Buenos Aires, will be in charge of Silvia Dolinko (Argentina) and Pablo García Martínez (Spain). On Tuesday 10 of November, the talk Public space as heritage, will be in charge of Silvia Fajre (Argentina) and Marc Aureli Santos Ruiz (Barcelona, Spain). On Tuesday 17 of November, the talk Managing archives and art collections, will be in charge of Laura Malosetti (Argentina) and Natalia Majluf (Lima, Peru). And finally, on Tuesday 24 of November, the talk Architectural heritage from a gender perspective, will be in charge of Inés Moisset (Argentina) and Maider Maraña (Basque Country, Spain).
