INCAA and the National School of Film Experimentation and Production (ENERC) continue the Argentine film cycle with a program dedicated to the generation of Argentine filmmakers of the decade of the 60.

projections, in 35 Y 16 mm, will be held during the month of February in the microcinema of the ENERC –Moreno 1199, CABA–, Fridays at 23 hours and on Saturdays at 22, free admission.

The programing, curated by historian, researcher and film collector Fernando Martín Peña, includes a total of eight feature films about this group of filmmakers who, although it did not consolidate a cinematographic movement, inaugurated in our country a different way of conceiving cinema, that involved aesthetic aspects, but also a new way of producing and distributing films. Directors like David José Kohon, Rodolfo Kuhn, Manuel Antin, Lautaro Murua, or the first productions of Leonardo Favio, established a type of cinema in which viewers, particularly the younger ones, they felt represented, while urban life took on a greater centrality in the plot.

The cycle will open this Friday 3 with "Prisoners of one night" (1960), by David José Kohon. Then, the programming will include the exhibitions of ¡Ufa with sex! (1968), by Rodolfo Kuhn; the venerable all (1962), by Manuel Antin; Alias Gardelito (1961), Lautaro Murua; The pursuer (1962), by Osías Wilenski; The Heritage (1963), by Ricardo Alventosa; and the negotiation (1959), by Simon Feldman. Closing will be on Saturday 25 with the projection of This is the romance of Aniceto and Francisca, of how it was truncated, sadness began and a few more things (1967), by Leonardo Favio.
