With a special programming, the Cine.Ar platform will review one of the bloodiest events in the history of our country, like the bombing of Plaza de Mayo, upon completion 66 years of that sad episode.

In commemoration of the innocent lives that were lost during that brutal attack that occurred on 16 June 1955, the programming will be made up of the documentary "Project 55", by Miguel Colombo and the television series in five chapters, "The pigeons and the bombs", performed by Maximiliano González.

Both productions will be broadcast this Wednesday 16 by Cine.Ar TV and the series will run until Friday 18 completing its five episodes, that also, will be highlighted on the Cinema screen..

The bombings of Plaza de Mayo aimed to overthrow the current constitutional government, at that time in charge of Juan Domingo Perón. Within that context, military forces aircraft, carried out an attack on the emblematic Plaza de Mayo and other points of the city of Buenos Aires, leaving a balance of more than 300 dead and hundreds injured.

"Project 55" is a documentary that has already had its way through prestigious festivals such as the Next Masters Competition at Dok Leipzig (Germany), Argentine Panorama of the Mar del Plata International Film Festival (Argentina) and the International Political Film Festival.

This realization will be screened today from 20 and then it will be available in Cinema.Ar PLAY.

Meanwhile, "The doves and the bombs" is a historical drama that has the performances of Luis Machín, Violeta Urtizberea, Roberto Carnaghi, Arturo Bonin, Osvaldo Santoro and Martín Slipak.

The series reconstructs different moments of that 16 June 1955 and its characters, structuring the story between the present and the events of that day.

The first two chapters can be seen today from 22, the third and the fourth this Thursday 17 of June (in the same time) and the last one will be available on Friday, also the 22. At the same time, will be available from this Wednesday at Cinema.Ar PLAy.
