Italia experimental, cinema program to enjoy at the Palais de Glace
Lovers of Italian cinema will have the chance to enjoy a new cycle at the Palais de Glace, where three productions that represent contemporary experiences will be screened.
The meeting will be on Thursday 14, from 19, in the Posadas compound 1725, With free entry, to fill the capacity of the room.
This program, containing three contemporary Italian experimental films, is presented by Kino Palais. The productions that can be seen “delve into the detail, trace the confines of particles and their linkages, the origin of the vision and even its loss and remembrance ", as explained by its organizers. It is an authentic program that "invites you to discover a trace of the present of experimental cinema in Italy".
The meeting will screen the short A thing among things (2015), realization that combines a collection of texts of visual memories of a blind person with close-ups of transparent minerals. The images work as scenographies open to different interpretations: how to look at one thing assuming it can become another.
Later Interlaced will be screened (Entangled), movies of 2014, directed by Riccardo Giacconi.
In quantum physics, if two particles interact in a certain way and then separate, no matter how far they are from each other, they will always share a state called "quantum entangled". That is to say, they will continue to share information beyond their separation. This idea used to upset Einstein. In his theory of relativity, no transmission of information faster than the speed of light could occur, hence he could not understand how the two particles could be connected simultaneously. The film intersects four interviews in Cali, Colombia: a tailor, some puppeteers, a parapsychologist and a physicist narrate certain episodes supposedly that occurred in the city. A latent "intertwining" between the elements of the stories emerges, outlining possible examples of action at a distance.
By last, Landscape with broken dog (2014), It is a requiem for the cinema that has been dismembered. It is the story of a trip to the impossible. It is a film that traces the origin of the instability of vision, using found footage from various locations. This projection will also have, the presence of its director, Orazio Leogrande.
