Claudio Pazos will be Magellan at the Payró Theater

Saturday 20 March, the work “Magallanes.0”, one of the successes of the Spanish theatrical billboard that here will have its version at the Payró with Claudio Pazos.

Originally released in November 2019, the show written by Jeroni Obrador participated in the Festival Mitin de Sevilla and is the official program of the V Centenario in Spain. He had time to tour at the Santiago Off Festival, and it premiered in the main theater of Palma de Mallorca before the mandatory confinement began in March.

Currently the Spanish version participated in the International Festival of Monologues of the Matacandelas Theater in the Colombian city of Medellín.

Directed by Merceditas Elordi, this setting shows Magellan, who wanders lonely and confined on a desolate planet, razed.

In that context, have passed 500 years of his presumed death and yet, feels alive, sole survivor of the heroic expedition that was the world's first circumnavigation.

The protagonist will find himself in a body full of life in contrast to the desolation that surrounds him., his ramblings and reflections that will lead to the possibility that he is simply asleep in an eternal dream, that has been separated into a parallel universe, or that it is his soul that wanders in limbo, waiting for his final judgment.

During that state of despair and deep reflection for others, Magellan will discover the future when facing an unknown and strange entity. A new world is revealed to you, where all times are together in one, where the homeland is the entire universe with its diverse wealth that should be understood as sacred.

The work can be seen every Saturday from 20, with locations that have a cost of 500 pesos and that can be purchased through the Alternative Theater system.
