In the neighborhood of La Boca, The Usina del Arte opens its doors for a new edition of the Summer Culture cycle, which will take place until 23 February.

During this month, The public will be able to enjoy a wide range of free activities and shows, with artistic proposals that cover music, theater, cinema and much more. Many of these experiences will take place outdoors, taking advantage of spaces such as terraces, gardens and amphitheaters. Fridays 24 Y 31 from January, Y 7 Y 14 February, of 20 a 22.30, The Central Patio of the Power Plant will be the scene of the installation “When you see you will see”, a sensory journey under the stars where live music and mapping will be combined to create unique universes. Every Friday, a different experience: the 24 from January, Dynamic proposes a psychedelic kaleidoscope of sensations; the 31, Ephemeral invites you to flow with evocative melodies; the 7 February, Inevitable will offer an intense visual and sound journey; and the 14, Timeless will explore the big questions of existence.

Saturday 26 from January, Soy Muni will perform at the Auditorium with two functions, to 15.30 Y 17.30. This show for the whole family combines music, games and interaction with the public, promising an unforgettable experience.

On Sunday 2 February, The day will begin at 11.30 in the Chamber Hall with a concert by the Luminar Trio, who will perform works by Bach, Ibert, Debussy and Moreno Buendía. At 16, the play Hugo – Being different makes us great will address topics such as empathy and diversity, raising awareness about autism spectrum disorder. Later, to 17.30, Banda de Tías will arrive at the Auditorium with a theatrical show inspired by the rock bands of the years 80.

Saturday 8 February at 15.30, Plim Plim will offer a recital for children and adults, with songs like Cabeza, shoulder, knee, feet and little bee, promising a show full of energy and magic.

On Sunday 9 February, to 11.30, Joaquín Oliva Ubereaga will offer a concert dedicated to works by Liszt, Brahms y Debussy. At 17.30 h, Bigolates de Chocote will present “Assembling memories”, a philosophical and musical show that invites you to reflect, laugh and enjoy.

On Sunday 16, The Chamber Room will receive the 11.30 h to the guitar duo Silvana Saldaña and Javier Bravo, with a program that includes Piazzolla, Granados and Scarlatti. At 16, The play I Dream of Songs will celebrate literature through music and theater. In the auditory, to 17.30, Not Crazy, led by Enzo Ordeig and Pablo Echaniz, will present “The holidays have arrived”.

On Friday 21 February, the Colón Philharmonic will offer a concert at 20 in the auditory. Saturday 22, of 14 a 22, It will be the turn of the Great Chamamé Festival, celebrating this genre with live music.

The closing of the cycle, on Sunday 23, will include a concert by cellist Stanimir Todorov at 11.30 in the Chamber Hall, and a show by the Umbides at 17.30, honoring Argentine folklore with dance and music.

Throughout the month, there will be workshops like “Writing with Rhythm” – Rap School” and “Usina Freestyle”, plus creative activities for children on Sunday afternoons, from watercolor painting to making carnival masks. Permanent spaces such as iUpiiiiii for early childhood will also remain open, the Ludo-Espacio and the Soft Plaza.

Guided tours will also be part of the offer, including tours such as “Usina Expansiva” and “Usina Detectives” for children. The entire proposal is part of an initiative of the City's Ministry of Culture, designed to enjoy with the family and celebrate summer in Buenos Aires.
