Recently, the Ministry of Culture of the Nation began to pay the first installment corresponding to the Economic Support for Strengthening Culture.

This measure is intended for cultural workers, who saw their income affected before the pandemic situation and subsequent social isolation. In this context and as reported by the Ministry, depending on the bank, said accreditation can be immediate or delay between 24 Y 48 hours to become effective.

The call for the Strengthening Culture ended on 23 October and in less than a week, together with ANSES, all the information was processed to verify compliance with the requirements, both for those who benefited from the Sustaining Culture II scholarship, as for those who signed up for the first time.

The 17 November, the lists with the recipients of financial support were officially published. Since then, All the necessary administrative procedures were carried out to make the payment effective.

Of the 30.761 beneficiaries of the Economic Support Strengthen Culture, 16.942 have been creditors of the Sustain Culture II Grant, in which a jury of more than 70 cultural personalities and 13.819 they are new beneficiaries, for which a Validation Committee participated with more than 40 artists and technicians from the cultural sector.
