In the last hours the call for the third edition Festival Escenario was kicked off (Who + Music), meeting that disseminates shorts and feature films made about music.

With a deadline until 31 of July, The proposal is aimed at filmmakers and production companies around the world who have made documentaries since 2019 about artists, spaces, groups, musical scenes and genres, of any duration, to be included in the main section of the festival.

Registrations will be carried out only online, through the platform of the Stage Festival

It is worth remembering that in October 2020 the second stage meeting took place, with a great reception by the public and the specialized press. In this edition, the Uruguayan documentary "Espíritu Inquieto" directed by Eli-U-Pena and Matías Guerreros was the winner., that portrays the life and work of the "Prince" Gustavo Pena. As well, received special mentions "Madre Baile" by Carolina Rojo and "Esta Noche en el Hotel Central" by Daniel Casabé and Mario Martinelli.

Festival Escenario is an initiative that seeks to unite in a single space the enormous number of films about music that are produced annually both in Argentina and around the world., thus demonstrating the variety of approaches and the quality that the musical documentary genre has achieved in recent years.
