Registration for the National Hall of Visual Arts has begun 2022
This Friday 15 of July to 15 Registration for a new edition of the National Exhibition of Visual Arts will remain open from August, the traditional meeting held at the Palais de Glace.
A more inclusive room was proposed for this edition, that is why there will be a greater amount of prizes, a new artistic category and quotas for the 50 percentage of female participation and 5 percent of non-binary people and transvestites.
On the other hand, the jury will be federal and half of the participants will be residents outside the CABA area., therefore, coverage will be offered for the cost of transporting selected works outside the AMBA in order to strengthen the federal character of this centenary artistic event..

The 110th National Exhibition of Visual Arts is a contest that is made up of the National Exhibition of Visual Arts Award and the National Award for Artistic Career.
The National Hall of Visual Arts Award distinguishes works acquired from the set of categories (that become part of the art collection of the Palais de Glace – National Palace of Arts) and non-acquisition works of each artistic discipline; The National Award for Artistic Career recognizes the career of visual artists who, being distinguished, donate to the national State works of their authorship that become part of the art collection of the National Museum of Fine Arts.
In this new edition a new artistic category is incorporated, which is added to the eight already existing: Non-Disciplinary Space; also, two categories change names: Ceramics is renamed Fire Arts, and Engraving is called Graphic.
On the other hand, and since during the year 2020 the Covid-19 pandemic made it difficult to hold the event in a timely manner, this year, exceptionally, will be granted 16 Artistic Career awards –eight more than in the 2020/21 edition– and six acquisition awards for the three best works in the set of categories –three more awards than last year–.
Regarding the prizes, will be awarded a total of 750 thousand pesos to the best work Acquisition, 500 thousand to the second and 380 thousand to the third.
There will also be three Non-Acquisition of 170 one thousand pesos each, six second prizes 120 thousand 6 third prizes of 90 thousand each.
