This Wednesday opened the call for artists from the Eduardo Sívori Museum to be part of the 64th edition of the Manuel Belgrano Plastic Arts Salon.

Registration for the traditional contest will remain open until Friday 13 August and it will only be virtual.

opened in 1945, The call rewards Argentine and resident artists in various disciplines promoting the trajectory, continuity and practice in art. From the Museum, the Hall operates as an “identity and institutional instrument with a dual nature: on the one hand, guarantees the development and diversity of the cultural scene in the city, increasing the heritage heritage by acquiring the first prizes in each category, and on the other, grants pensions that give recognition to the production of artists who dedicated their lives to the profession ", as detailed from the traditional Buenos Aires enclosure.

Being virtual for the first time in its history, The contest will allow greater accessibility with a federal scope and a more secure application that avoids the manipulation of materials, adapting to digital times.

The artists will have to share URLs with access to their portfolios and works to present. Participants will be able to elect by vote the jurors representing the Artists Associations. Then, on Friday 23 selected artists will be announced in August and on Friday 27 August, the award-winning artists will be known.
