With a renewed cast, the new season of “I wish the walls would scream” –the play directed by Paola Lusardi- started at Palpita.

In this opportunity, the play presents a cast made up of Manu Fanego, Cecile Caillon, Jose Luis Arias, Gonzalo Urtizberea, Bianca Oliveti and Tomás Melilo, who will be in charge of carrying out this first feature by Lusardi.

A teenage Hamlet, lover of electronic music and visibly affected by the death of his father constantly provokes his mother, widowed only for a few moments and recently married to her late husband's brother, your uncle. The table is served as an excuse for an important announcement: there is a vacant position in the family business for this “wayward millennial ".

The functions will be on Thursdays (20.30) and sundays (19 hours), with tickets on sale through Alternativa and at the box office of the enclosure located on Palpa 3390.

As the playwright explains, the work emerges "as an academic process on Hamlet" and adds: "In the process, and through the clipping made of the Elizabethan Hamlet and working with Lacan's book “Clinical essay on Hamlet”, the need to talk about a mother appears, of a son, from a family".

"Love, the fraternity, the genes, the descendants, the oedipus, the power of the mirror, getting caught in one's own ties. He must be. Young love as a reflection of the impossible. What is left on the road. That from which we cannot escape and unfailingly repeat ", claims Lusardi.

"The power. Abuse of power. The oppression that a young person may feel within a context that is not his own and the possible ways out that he seeks to escape from it. There the strong rebellion appears, confrontation and the need to take revenge as a symbol of escape from one's own anguish. Hate as your first enemy. The daze, electronic music, their sounds, the trap and its lyrics”.

This work had its premiere in 2018 with great repercussion. further, participated in FIBA (Buenos Aires International Theater Festival), in its editions 2019 Y 2020, generating greater visibility at the local level and enabling international projection.

After an international tour, was part of the billboard on Corrientes Street, reaping again great repercussion.
