On Tuesday the second stage of the call for cultural trainings began, the initiative proposed by the Buenos Aires Culture area in relation to summer activities in the City.

Regarding the activities covered in the call, they appear within the theater categories, dance, letters and theoretical classes of visual arts and related disciplines.

They will be held in the gardens of the Eduardo Sívori Plastic Arts Museum, Enrique Larreta Museum of Spanish Art, The Isaac Fernández Blanco Museum of Hispanic American Art and the Cornelio de Saavedra Historical Museum of Buenos Aires.

The registration form - which is already available- can be completed until Tuesday 5 of January of 2021.

Enrique Avogadro, Buenos Aires Minister of Culture was satisfied with the call, stating that at this time "it seems essential to ensure that more and more sectors can resume their activities always prioritizing health".

Within that concept, The official added that the City "makes museum gardens available so that cultural workers can resume their activities in safe places.".

Total, after the first call there were more than 200 inscriptions of teachers and artists who were looking for a space. In this situation, Vivi Cantoni - Undersecretary of Cultural Management- affirmed that “we want you to know that you have open-air spaces at your disposal to continue developing within the cultural sector, which was one of the hardest hit during the pandemic. In the City, promoting and promoting cultural activities is and will continue to be a priority ”.

For these activities, the gardens of the BA Museums will be made available., both for teachers and artists who need an outdoor space to teach their private courses to groups of adults already made up of up to 10 people, guaranteeing the distancing of 2 metros y las condiciones indicadas por el “Protocolo para el desarrollo de actividades físicas recreativas y los entrenamientos corporales asociados a actividades culturales y/o teatrales”.

The museums will establish in which outdoor areas or areas the trainings will be held and what will be the weekly distribution according to the requirements received. Classes will start from Saturday 9 of January of 2020 and will develop from 10 a 12 hours in the following days: Monday, Wednesdays and Saturdays at the Eduardo Sívori Plastic Arts Museum; Monday, Thursday and Friday at the Enrique Larreta Museum of Spanish Art; Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Isaac Fernández Blanco Museum of Hispano-American Art; and thursday, Fridays and Saturdays at the Cornelio de Saavedra Historical Museum of Buenos Aires.
