More than 80 outdoor stands FELBA arrives, the first fully face-to-face literary fair of the year that will take place between 5 and the 8 from December.

In a very tough year, where culture was one of the areas most affected by the pandemic, the Fair of Editorials and Bookstores of the City of Buenos Aires (FELBA) will gather a total of 41 exhibitors who will have the opportunity to develop different proposals in the Parque de la Estación (President Perón 3326 from the Balvanera neighborhood).

This meeting is organized jointly with the Ministry of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires and the Fundación El Libro, and can be enjoyed with free admission.

Fully developed outdoor FELBA will present 82 stands (each bookstore and / or publisher will have two spaces) and it will also offer a daily cultural program that will include talks on feminism, youth literature, romance novel and sexual diversity, among other topics.

The possibility of visiting it virtually will also be offered, through the site www.el-libro.org.ar, from the social networks of the Book Fair @ferialibroba (Instagram), @ferialibro (Twitter y YouTube) and @ferialibrobuenosaires (Facebook) and the Ministry of Culture of the City: @impulsocultural and @bacultura.

As stated by Oche Califa, institutional and cultural director of the Fundación El Libro, this meeting “puts us back on the street, in lively contact with readers and with strict respect for health protocols "and he added: “It will be a colorful fair with a lot of diversity of what is created and produced, even with the news with which publishers have gotten back on track these days. Will have, also, the presence of Buenos Aires booksellers, daily and irreplaceable cultural agents ".

At the same time, Minister of Culture of the City, Enrique Avogadro, stated that the fair aims to "be able to meet again and connect with the culture. But, especially, activate the independent sector of publishers and their sales channels, the bookstores ".
