This Friday 27 A new edition of the International Film Festival will begin in May (EPA) Independent that takes place in El Palomar.

It will last until Sunday 29 of May, with the support of the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) and the Manage Future program, belonging to the Secretariat of Cultural Management.

With this edition and how they have been doing year after year, EPA Cine aims to offer a space for meeting and cultural exchange with the public, resuming contact with the territory where this project was born and continuing to offer the best selection of national and international independent cinema.

In addition to the screening of films selected especially for the meeting, the Show that takes place at the Cine Teatro Helios (Boulevard San Martin 3076) will also hold special screenings with live music, late night performances and a workshop, by Carmen Baliero.

The selection of films for this year is as follows:

"Chronicles of an exile", by Micaela Montes Rojas and Pablo Guallar (Argentina, Peru, 2021, 93 min)

"Ski", by La Banca (Argentina, 2021, 74 min)

“Noh”, by Juani Fernandez, Ignacio Ragone and Marcos Canale (Argentina, Japan, Germany, 2021, 72 min)

“Dig and remember”, by Pablo Salvador Boido (Argentina, 2020, 11 min)

“Seven years in May”, by Affonso Uchôa (Brazil, 2019, 42 min)

“We love life”, of Hana Vojackova (UK, 2022, 29 min)

"a skull", by Mariano Cocolo (Peru, 2021, 4 min)

“Once upon a time in Quizca”, of Nicolás Torchinsky (Argentina, 2021, 12 min)

In the projection section with live music will be offered "The Big Parade", by King Vidor and George W.. Hill (U.S, 1925, 120 min.) with live music performed by Carmen Baliero

Finally, the Classic Late Night Show will be "Eyes without a face", of Georges Franju (France, 1960, 88 min).
