From the 10 July to 28 In August, the second season of “Aceite de Mariposa” will take place at the Teatro La Gloria, the play headed by Thelma Demarchi under the direction of Ricardo Lago Oliveira.

After an excellent first season, history returns to the site located on Yatay 890 to provide functions on Sundays from 19 hours, with tickets that are on sale at the box offices of the place or through the Alternativa Teatral system.

With drama by Demarchi and Lago Oliveira themselves, the work is located in a small apartment somewhere in the world. Within that context, the protagonist will live the life she can and not the one she might have.

In "Butterfly Oil", the story will travel down a slide of memories and emotions in a tragicomedy tone where the protagonist will reconstruct moments of her life to understand her present, going through one of the great fears: loneliness.

This setting is inspired by the emotional universe of the book "The Broken Woman" by Simone de Beauvoir to create this woman who is the synthesis of all the protagonists of the text.

After its premiere in 2019, the show was chosen as the winner of the "Best Play Chosen by the Public" Award at the IV Larroque Theater Festival, held this year in Entre Ríos. further, participated in the 21st edition of the May Theater (2022) organized by the Undersecretary of Culture and Education of the Municipality of Tandil.
