The Week of the Silver Condor begins at the Gaumont Cinema

From Thursday 8 June and until Wednesday 14 The Silver Condor Week will take place at the Gaumont Cinema, with the screening of the winning films with free admission.

With features from the 20:30, the room located in Rivadavia 1635 will screen a special selection of films awarded with the prestigious Argentine film award. All will be presented by a member of ACCA and will be attended by their filmmakers.

The production that will kick off the cycle will be "Jesús López", by Maximiliano Schonfeld, a film that follows the life of a man in search of his identity, winner of the Silver Condor for the best original script written by Schonfeld together with Selva Almada.

At the same time, accompanying this projection, the short film “Tres Cinematecas” by Nicolás Suárez will be screened, awarded the Silver Condor for Best Fiction or Documentary Short Film.

Later, on Friday 9 “Herbaria” by Leandro Listorti will be exhibited, awarded as Best Documentary and for its Editing Direction. Complementing this function, “Passenger” by Juan Pablo Zaramella will be screened, Awarded as Best Animated Short Film.

"Sublime" by Mariano Biasin, awarded for its Original Score and for Best First Feature, it will be seen on saturday 10, while Sunday 11 June will be the turn of "El fulgor" by Martín Farina, Silver Condor for Best Documentary. Accompanying this function, “After Catan” by Víctor Cruz will be screened, awarded as Best Fiction or Documentary Short.

On Tuesday 13 June will see "An Argentine Crime" by Lucas Combina, distinguished as Best First Feature and for its Adapted Screenplay based on the homonymous novel by Reynaldo Sietecase.

"Argentina 1985" by Santiago Miter, winner of 15 silver condor, including Best Argentine Film of the year, direction and leading actor for Ricardo Darín, will close on wednesday 14 this week with the best films awarded by the Association of Cinematographic Chroniclers of Argentina.

further, as part of the celebration of 80 entity anniversary, various cycles of award-winning films will be carried out throughout history, that can be enjoyed on the screens of CINE.AR Play and CINE.AR TV.
