A cycle of talks about tango begins in the City

Starting this Thursday and every Thursday in March, The Pioneras del Tango cycle will be held at the Carlos Gardel Museum, a series of free meetings that invites you to learn more about the history of this musical genre.

from 18 and through the official YouTube channel of the Buenos Aires campus, the cycle will be coordinated by the director of the Marina Cañardo museum, who will take a tour of a plurality of topics with participants who come from different fields such as the film director Lorena Muñoz, the director of “La Joyita Casona & Ada Falcón Museum ”Eduardo Zavala, singer Karina Beorlegui, songs, dancers, researchers and collectors.

It should be noted that the cycle will not only have participants from the national level, but also from France, Chile, Portugal and the United States.

The first talk of the cycle will be about Ada Falcón (1905-2002), female singer and actress, where will Lorena Muñoz participate, screenwriter, director and producer, co-director of the film about the female singer and actress, "I don't know what your eyes have done to me" (2003) and director of “Gilda, I do not regret this love" (2016), "The Potro, the best of Love" (2018); Eduardo Zavala, businessman, director-documentary maker of television and visual media founder of La Joyita Casona, museum dedicated to the memory of Ada Falcón; and Leonardo Paludi, collector of photos and records published or recorded by Argentine artists outside the homeland, who is dedicated to the conservation and dissemination of Argentine popular music abroad.
