From Wednesday 6 and up 8 In November the seventh edition of the Callejón Festival will take place, the marathon of dance works, theater and music that will offer a triple program every day with outstanding proposals.

It's a festival, directed by Javier Daulte and Federico Buso, is a joint production by Ramiro Bailiarini, Sebastián Francia and Zoilo Garcés.

For this 2024, The festival premieres the musical show “Songs of Time”, directed by Vero Gerez and Caro Saade, based on “Songs of Maríacastaña” by María Elena Walsh and Leda Valladares. The play “Late Confession of Love” will also be presented., written by Violeta Maquis about a stewardess of a low cost airline; and “Some messages in my father's mailbox”, directed by Amalia Tercelán, that explores grief in times of crisis.

In dance and performance, the festival will feature “Bardo”, a performance by Corina Wilson that combines movement and muscle tone in frictions and fictions. further, will include a work in progress titled “All my curses at home”, directed by Sofia Rypka, a space where the Callejón Festival promotes projects in development.

Bailiarini expressed that “in this 2024 We meet again in the beloved Callejón, friendly space where art, “Independent creation and struggle are intertwined.”. France, for its part, explained that “this year the need to express and resist is more urgent than ever.”. Zoilo Garcés added that “with each work we try to provide ways to reflect, reírnos y emocionarnos, abrazando el acto de crear cuando todo parece desmoronarse”.

El Festival Callejón, created in 2018 by Bailiarini and France, It has been a space where young and dissident artists share their scenic vision. Since then, this cultural theater marathon, dance and music has established itself as a classic of the emerging Almagro scene.
