The virtual days of Ancient Music begin at the UNQ

From this Thursday until 29 of May, the National University of Quilmes (UNQ) will carry out its virtual sessions Ancient Music 2021, with lectures and asynchronous musical interventions.

This meeting was born in 2019, with the simple purpose of building bridges in the Educational Community, between tertiary and university levels, with the intention of making individual and collective efforts visible in the study, the pedagogy, the luthería and the interpretation of the Old Music so much in the National University of Quilmes (UNQ) as in other Argentine and foreign institutions.

The proposal seeks to make available to students and the general public, a current image of the educational forces that work on the subject, through free sessions open to the entire community.

In the edit 2021 the conference focuses its theme on music and medieval poetry in languages ​​descended from Latin, this universe is made up of the non-liturgical and the profane: melodies, texts and the performative possibilities that the instruments grant.
