With “The Song of the Sea”, The Magic Lantern season ends
This Sunday 10 The last performance of The Magic Lantern will take place in November, the film club for the little ones, at El Tinglado Theater.
With the screening of “The Song of the Sea”, The cycle that seeks to bring the little ones closer to the Seventh Art will end a new season that had great proposals throughout the year.
The function will be from 15 hours at the Mario Bravo facility 948, where this great Irish film will be screened, made by Tomm Moore in 2014. This animated production was nominated for the Oscar Award.
The particularity of this film is that it is inspired by Celtic legends, more precisely to the “Selkies”, magical and imaginary creatures, with great stories behind. Within that context, Moore gives the little ones a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in little-known iconography and culture, that favors the imagination.
Regarding its history, The film narrates the emotions of a boy and his sister, who will search for their mysteriously missing mother.
