This Friday 31 July - from 19- and through his official Instagram account, the CEC of Rosario will finish its cycle of Mini Virtual Gallery, with the exhibition by the artist Gisela Gasperini. The sample, also, can be seen through the site www.cecrosario.gob.ar.

According to Roberto Echen, visual arts curator of the entity rosarina, this exhibition “is about the crossing of the affective that the gaze causes. The camera as an artifact that makes a device with the eye but above all with a subjectivity that looks: when subjectivity shows that what we have in front is what is seen, can not not appear affection (the affections, those who are)”.

In turn, he adds that “the distance from the supposedly objective of the photographic record (the naked truth) shows its impossibility in the very emergence of the gaze that looks: that of the artist, the one we watch ".

"The author of the images that summon us says so in her biography: ´Everything happened if I triggered, a poetry or an image´. It is no coincidence or less that the term "poetry" appears in his story, in the story of his encounter with photography. And I want to add, what appears is the image as capable of poetry or the poetry shown by the image. So the place where we postulate these images is in an art space, not that of a journalistic chronicle ”.
