With the presentation of “Othelo” –the William Shakespeare classic adapted by Gabriel Chamé Buendía- from the 22 January the theatrical season will begin in the Caras y Caretas room.

The show, which can be seen from 22.30, features performances by Matías Bassi, Gabriel Beck, Elvira Gómez and Martín López Carzolio.

Four actors, specialists in physical theater, the clown and the burlesque, perform the famous tragedy of William Shakespeare, “Othelo”.

This interpretation of Shakespeare's classic revolves around a staging totally stripped of everyday realism, the physical game and the white verse of the English teacher and faces and complements in a playful language, hilarious and absurd.

Other proposals

On the other hand, the Caras y Caretas billboard will have the presentations of "Power" (by Eduardo Pavlovsky, with Norman Briski and María Onetto) from the 23 January from 20.

That same day, "200 strokes of Serrano ham" will arrive., with Gustavo Garzón and Marina Otero, from 22.30.

At the same time, the 24 January will be the turn (from 20) from "Plague Monologues", of authors selected by Mauricio Kartun and with a great cast.
